We wentn eary one morning to Laguna Beach to the "1,000 steps". They are approx. 281 steps down to a fairly secluded beach. Each house surrounding had their own personal "steps" or other way down to that beach.
First thing once we got down to the beach, Brichelle chased down a flock of seagulls. It feels good to use the bands name in a sentence.
It was freezing!
Chelles loved playing in the sand! She didn't care for the water.
I wanted to get a picture of Bri and me on the rocks where the waves come and crash on. Kind of a little mermaid thing. But Bri hated it, the rocks hurt my bare feet and the waves were big and scary. Haha!
But if you saw Gianna running around that beach, ou would never now it was cold.
We took a beach hike over to a cave they found on the beach.
It was cool, the water would rush in from both sides and fill thr floor of the cave.
This was a neat old abandoned lifeguard station we found on the way to the cave.
Later that day we went to walk on the Newport Beach pier. Tthe girls kept running from side to side to peer down at the swimmers.

I am so glad to see these Newport photos, my mom used to take us there for a weekend when we were kids, and we LOVED that cave!! There was a blow-hole on the other side which I got brave enough to dive thru - very stupid stunt since we could so easily have drowned. robin reeder
